About Me

LABAS! My name is Emilija and I’m from Lithuania. I am a Business & Management major, an athlete and I study in the United States. I left my country to study and play basketball in the United States when I was 18. Traveling through different countries and studying far away from my home has taught me how to adapt to change, resilience, open-mindedness and creativeness. I love challenges and problem solving. I consider myself a great leader, team-player, and honest person.

Enjoy looking around and feel free to get in touch with me through my LinkedIn and chat more. I aim to carry a mindset of a student at all times. This way I won’t miss the chance to learn something new.

I started playing basketball at 12 years old in Lithuania for my town’s club, with the dreams of playing in the USA for a college team.

In 2016 I got an opportunity to come to USA to play in the AAU league which led me to get an offer to play for Holderness prep High School in 2018.

In 2020 I received and offer from Skidmore College Women’s Basketball team where I continued my career and education.

  • Liberty League All-Academic Team (Skidmore College)
  • Liberty League Champions (Skidmore College)
  • Went to NCAA 2nd round – History made at Skidmore College
  • Earned varsity letters in basketball, field hockey, and lacrosse (Holderness)
  • Led Holderness Women’s Basketball team to two conference championships
  • Earned coaches awards twice at Holderness Prep School
